Modern Ski Resort Management Models Discussed for Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a working visit to the French Republic, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan S. Bobokalonov held talks with Pascal de Tercey, Chairman of the Board of Société des 3 Vallées.

The discussions focused on the development of ski resorts based on an integrated management model used in Les 3 Vallées, one of the world’s largest ski areas.

Special attention was given to efficient management of tourist flows, the introduction of a unified ski-pass system, and ensuring coordination between infrastructure facilities and service providers.

The parties also considered the potential adaptation of international best practices to Uzbekistan’s conditions, particularly within the framework of the Beldersay–Chimgan–Nanay international all-season resort zone.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to further develop cooperation, including the preparation of a roadmap for implementing modern tourism infrastructure management models.
