London-2012: Uktamjon Rakhmanov advances to quarterfinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan boxer Uktamjon Rakhmanov held his second bout in the weight category of 64 kg at London Olympic Games.

Uktamjon Rakhmanov held his bout against Turkey’s Yakup Sener. The first round ended with 5-5 draw.

Uzbek boxer dominated in the second round and recorded 7-1 victory. In the last round, Rakhmanov controlled the bout and won it with the score 4-2 to advance to quarterfinals.
