Javokhir Sindarov moves to second in Live Rapid

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov has risen to second place in the world Live Rapid rankings. His current rating stands at 2742.6 points.

In the latest update, Sindarov gained 10.6 rating points and climbed four positions. As a result, he moved ahead of Ian Nepomniachtchi, Hikaru Nakamura and Alireza Firouzja.

Norwegian grandmaster Magnus Carlsen remains the leader of the rankings. Sindarov therefore occupies second place among the world’s strongest chess players in the current rapid chess rankings.

Another Uzbek representative, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, dropped one position to 13th place. His rating stands at 2704.4 points.

Thus, two chess players from Uzbekistan are currently among the top 15 in the world Live Rapid rankings.

The Live Rapid rankings are updated in real time, so players’ positions can change after each game.
