Uzbekistan has completed online registration of applicants to higher and vocational education institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year, with 677,907 people submitting documents.
Two-thirds (66.6%) are this year's graduates, and women make up 53.9% of applicants. Entrance tests await 664,609 candidates, while 36,500 chose programs with creative exams and 10,581 applied to military academies. A total of 24,526 international certificates were confirmed, and 12,997 applicants holding certificates in all subjects will proceed directly to the competitive selection without testing.
The exams will run for ten days at 64 venues with a daily capacity of 70,980 people. See the infographic for key figures.
