Honored Artist Nasiba Madrakhimova Passes Away at 80

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Nasiba Madrakhimova has passed away at the age of 80. For over 20 years, she served as the leading soloist of the Mukarram Turgunbaeva State Folk Dance Ensemble "Bakhor."

Nasiba Madrakhimova made a significant contribution to the development of Uzbek choreographic art. Over her creative career, she became one of the prominent representatives of the national dance school, dedicating herself both to the stage and to training young performers.

Working with students, the artist passed on the traditions and distinct features of Uzbek folk dance, training multiple generations of dancers.

For her long-standing contribution to the development of choreographic art, Nasiba Madrakhimova was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Uzbekistan."

Her stage mastery and dedication to the arts left a notable mark on the history of national culture.
