First Uzbekistan-Korea interregional forum to be held in Seoul
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The first Uzbekistan-Korea Interregional Cooperation Forum will be held in Seoul on 11 September 2026, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade said.
The event will bring together representatives of government agencies, the investment community and business circles from the two countries.
The forum will focus on developing trade and economic, investment and interregional ties between Uzbekistan and South Korea. Organizers view the event as a platform for business dialogue and the formation of new partnerships.
A key focus of the programme will be industrial cooperation and investment partnerships. Participants will also discuss improving the vocational education and training system and developing qualified specialists.
The forum will also focus on digital technologies, artificial intelligence and IT. The programme includes discussions on expanding cultural, humanitarian and sports ties between the two countries.
The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade has invited companies interested in establishing new business contacts and developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Korean partners.
