Fire occures at a CNG filling station in Yangiyul district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A fire broke out in an automobile gas-filling compressor station (CNG filling station) in Yangiyul district, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

The incident occurred on 12 January at 22:30. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, part of the roof of the gas station and a KAMAZ-53212 truck were on fire.

Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 10:17 p.m. Firefighters contained the fire at 10:20 p.m. and extinguished it at 10:38 p.m.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are being established.
