Minister of Mining and Geology Discusses Partnership Expansion with ESAN
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bobur Islamov, held a meeting with the management team of the Turkish company ESAN. Responsible officials from the ministry also participated in the talks.
During the dialogue, representatives of the Turkish side highly praised the large-scale structural reforms consistently being implemented in the mining and geological sectors of Uzbekistan. The foreign partners paid special attention to the favorable conditions and preferences created in national legislation to protect and support foreign investors.
In addition, the management of ESAN noted the high organizational level of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, emphasizing that this platform has brought international cooperation in the industrial sector to a qualitatively new stage.
A key part of the meeting was a detailed discussion on the current status of investment and geological exploration projects implemented in the republic jointly with ESAN (Eczacıbaşı).
The parties substantively reviewed plans for the further expansion of operational activities and outlined strategic directions for deepening the long-term partnership in the field of development and processing of mineral resources.
