Azal Airlines launches flights from Baku to Urgench

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 28 January, an aircraft of the Azerbaijani airline Azal landed in Urgench. The Airbus A319 board with 99 passengers on board, which opened a new flight route: Baku-Urgench-Baku, was traditionally solemnly welcomed at the terminal. It is planned that regular flights will be carried out once a week - on Saturdays.

It should be noted that Urgench became the fourth city in Uzbekistan where the Azerbaijani air carrier began to fly. Flights from Baku to Tashkent are made on a regular basis twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays. From Baku to Samarkand - on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From Baku to Fergana - on Thursdays.
