Akgul Amanmuradova reaches third round of French Open

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan qualified to the third round of the French Open outplaying Johanna Larsson of Sweden in straight sets.

The Uzbek player clinched the first set in tiebreak and the score is 7/6 (7/2). In the second set, Akgul Amanmuradova took the initiative in her hands and took a lead with the score 4-0. In the set, Amanmuradova lost to games and won with the score 6/2.

In the third round, Amanmuradova will face either Chanelle Scheepers from South Africa or Gisela Dulko from Argentine.
