Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan won three silver medals in canoeing and kayaking on the sixth day of the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
The first medal of the day came in the women’s kayak competition. In the K4 500-metre final, Ekaterina Shubina, Arina Tanatmisheva, Milana Dushev-Yanich and Shahrizoda Mavlonova finished second to win silver medals.
Another silver in canoeing was won by Vladlen Denisov. The Uzbek representative also finished second in the 500-metre singles event. The medal was his second silver at the current Asian Games.
The third silver medal in canoeing went to Shokhsanam Sherzodova and Nilufar Zakirova. The Uzbek pair finished second in the women’s 500-metre canoe doubles event.
Thus, on the sixth day of Aichi-Nagoya 2026, Uzbekistan added three silver medals to its medal tally in canoeing and kayaking.
