About 58% of harmful emissions into the atmosphere come from vehicles

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- About 58% (1.4 million tons) of harmful emissions into the atmosphere in Uzbekistan come from motor vehicles. This is reported by the State Committee for Ecology.

At the same time, in the city of Tashkent, this figure is 93 percent (397 thousand tons).

A procedure has been introduced for importing new vehicles only for those models that comply with the Euro-4 and higher environmental categories.
