A road accident occurred in Pap district of Namangan region, two died

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Today, on 9 January 2024, at 20:30, a road accident occurred in Pap district of Namangan region.

The driver of the “Chakman” truck, born in 1988, was driving in the “Valley-Tashkent” direction along the 225th kilometer of the A-373 highway.

Due to high speed, the driver lost control and crashed into a metal barrier. This was reported by the Road Safety Service of the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of the accident, a fire broke out in the lorry.

The driver and passenger died on the spot from their injuries.

The incident is currently under investigation.
