Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzcosmos and STAR.VISION have signed a memorandum of cooperation on the use of hyperspectral satellite data.

The agreement provides for joint work to test and develop practical solutions based on imagery from the Samarkand 2028 satellite.

The signing ceremony was attended by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, Uzcosmos Director Shukhrat Kadyrov and STAR.VISION Group CEO Danying Fan, according to Uzcosmos.

Under the memorandum, the sides plan to study opportunities for the practical application of hyperspectral data, as well as support research activities and test new technologies.

Particular attention will be paid to the further commercialisation of the solutions developed. The sides intend to assess opportunities to use the data obtained to create practical solutions based on space technologies and satellite information.

Uzcosmos noted that cooperation with STAR.VISION will open up new opportunities for the effective practical application of space technologies and satellite data.
