Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The weighted average interest rate on microloans issued by commercial banks in Uzbekistan stood at 28.2%, while average rates on auto loans reached 21.5% and mortgage loans 21.8%.

The data, published by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, is as of 28 September 2026 and reflects lending rates recorded over the previous 10 working days.

The widest range of rates was recorded in the microloan market. These loans are issued to individuals as non-targeted credit for consumer needs.

The lowest average rates were offered by Microcreditbank at 21.8%, Infinbank at 24%, Asia Alliance Bank at 24.2% and Trustbank at 24.5%. Agrobank, National Bank and Aloqabank offered microloans at 24.9%.

The Central Bank said banks offer microloans on preferential terms through digital platforms and partnership programmes, including products for entrepreneurs, loans within the borrower’s salary and loans taking the customer’s credit history into account.

As a result, average rates may differ from those applied to banks’ standard products.

Auto loan rates ranged from 18.6% to 25.2%.

The lowest rates for targeted loans to purchase a vehicle were offered by Aloqabank and Asakabank, at 18.6% each. They were followed by Ipoteka Bank at 20%, Apex Bank at 20.2% and National Bank at 20.4%.

The highest rates were recorded at Davr Bank and Asia Alliance Bank, at 25.2% each, followed by Agrobank at 24.7% and Halk Bank at 24%.

According to the regulator, average auto loan rates may differ from banks’ current offers because under agreements with vehicle manufacturers, banks provide loans at lower rates depending on the size of the down payment.

For mortgages, the lowest rates were offered by National Bank and Business Development Bank, at 20.8% each, followed by Uzpromstroybank (SQB) at 21%, Orient Finans Bank at 21.1% and Asakabank at 21.2%.

The average mortgage rates include loans for the secondary housing market financed through banks’ own funds and funds from the Mortgage Refinancing Company.

The average rate on loans to legal entities for the purchase of fixed assets, including buildings, equipment and vehicles, stood at 22.2%. For business loans, the final interest rate is determined individually for each customer, taking into account the project implementation period, collateral liquidity, the bank’s lending policy and market conditions.

Overall, the average interest rate on loans to individuals, excluding microloans and credit cards, as well as on loans to legal entities, stood at 23%.
