Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister Lieutenant General Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov discussed prospects for developing military cooperation with Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Robert Kalinak.
The meeting took place in Baku on the sidelines of the sixth Azerbaijan International Defense Industry Exhibition, ADEX 2026.
The defense ministers reviewed the results achieved in bilateral military cooperation, as well as areas of cooperation planned for the future.
Particular attention was paid to opportunities for developing partnerships in the defense industry, military cooperation and military education.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
