Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan will introduce a new quality index in the general secondary education system, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
Under the new system, schools will be divided into categories based on the potential of their teaching teams and the results they achieve.
Leading schools will be encouraged to share their experience and help other educational institutions improve their performance and move to a higher category.
If a school succeeds in raising the category of another educational institution through the implementation of its experience, the entire teaching staff of the school will receive a 30% salary supplement.
The president also noted that quality indicators will be taken into account as the system of remuneration for school employees is improved.
