Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Around 13,600 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Georgia in January-August 2026, with most trips made for tourism purposes, according to Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee.
During the first eight months of the year, 12,548 Uzbek citizens travelled to Georgia for tourism.
Another 831 people travelled to visit relatives. A total of 134 Uzbek citizens made business trips, while 94 travelled to Georgia for medical treatment and nine for education.
Thus, tourist trips accounted for the overwhelming majority of all visits by Uzbek citizens to Georgia during the period under review.
