Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — About 5.9 million passengers were transported by rail in Uzbekistan in January-June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Rail passenger traffic increased by 0.6 million people compared with the same period in 2025.
In the first six months of 2026, rail transport also carried 56.3 million tonnes of freight.
