Uzbekistan Insurance Market Grows 52.7% in Q1 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Insurance premiums in Uzbekistan grew by 52.7% in January–March 2026, reaching 4.017 trillion soums, according to the quarterly report of the National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP).

The market is led by Apex Insurance with 1.031 trillion soums in premiums.

Insurance payouts amounted to 838.2 billion soums (+30.2%), total liabilities reached 4.41 trillion soums (+58.8%), and the investment portfolio of the industry stood at 10.34 trillion soums (+42.6%).

Tashkent accounts for 82.4% of all premiums collected in the country.

Voluntary insurance forms 83% of the premiums, and the number of active contracts reached 12.34 million.
