Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Consulate General, together with a representative office of the Migration Agency, assisted in returning citizen D.U. to Uzbekistan after he sustained serious injuries while working in southern Russia, Dunyo news agency reported.

The citizen suffered multiple injuries in an accident and was hospitalized at a medical facility in the region, where he received the necessary medical treatment.

Meanwhile, representatives of the Uzbek side worked on arranging his transportation to Uzbekistan, taking into account his health condition and recommendations from his treating doctors.

Two medical specialists arrived from Uzbekistan to organize the medical evacuation. They accompanied the citizen during the flight and provided the necessary medical supervision.

After all necessary arrangements had been completed, the injured citizen was sent home on a Mineralnye Vody–Tashkent flight, accompanied by the medical specialists who had arrived from Uzbekistan.
