Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A total of 456,700 commercial organizations were operating in Uzbekistan as of 1 September 2026, with limited liability companies accounting for the majority, according to the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

The number of limited liability companies reached 366,051, or 80.2% of all commercial organizations in the country.

Private enterprises ranked second, with 48,112 organizations, or 10.5% of the total.

There were 38,101 family enterprises, accounting for 8.3% of all commercial organizations.

Joint-stock companies accounted for 648 organizations, or 0.1%.

Another 3,740 commercial organizations, or 0.8% of the total, operated under other organizational and legal forms.
