Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The joint military exercises “Strength of Unity – 2026” involving servicemen from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye have concluded in Azerbaijan. The press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence reported this.

The closing ceremony was held with the participation of a military band. The national anthems of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan were performed during the event.

Speakers at the ceremony noted that the exercises enabled servicemen from the three countries to exchange experience, improve their combat training and strengthen friendly ties.

The servicemen carried out tasks in difficult terrain and under conditions as close as possible to a real combat situation. At the conclusion of the exercises, their professionalism, tactical training and coordination in carrying out assigned tasks were highlighted.

Following the official part of the ceremony, servicemen who distinguished themselves during the exercises were presented with gifts.

The joint “Strength of Unity – 2026” exercises began on 22 September. The manoeuvres were held at the Gyzylgaya training centre in the Karabakh Economic Region and the Karabakhlar training centre in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as at the Boyuk Zirya training ground in Azerbaijan’s Caspian Sea waters.
