Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Kahramonjon Obidjonovich Zoidov and Jahongir Dilshatovich Muratov have been appointed deputy defence ministers of Uzbekistan, the Defence Ministry’s press service reported.
Kahramonjon Zoidov has been appointed deputy defence minister for armaments and equipment. Since July 2025, he had headed the Institute of Ground Forces at the University of Military Security and Defence of Uzbekistan.
Jahongir Muratov has been appointed deputy defence minister for compliance and internal anti-corruption control.
In 2024, Muratov served as prosecutor of Tashkent’s Chilanzar District. In 2025, he worked as head of one of the departments of the Presidential Administration.
