Uzbekistan and Telecontact Expand BPO Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with Viktor Volsky, founder of the Russian company Telecontact, to discuss expanding cooperation in business process outsourcing (BPO) and developing exports of digital services from Uzbekistan.
The talks focused on the potential use of Uzbek contact centres to serve international clients, as well as the company’s plans to expand its presence in the country.
Representatives of Telecontact noted the high level of workforce training and expressed interest in expanding operations, including opening new offices in regional areas and creating additional jobs.
The Uzbek side presented the capabilities of the International Digital Technology Centre Enterprise Uzbekistan, which offers foreign companies special legal, tax and infrastructure conditions for doing business. Telecontact expressed interest in using these mechanisms to further expand its operations.
The parties also discussed the development of export potential in the BPO sector, improving competitiveness, and attracting new international clients.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue joint work on expanding the company’s activities in Uzbekistan, launching new projects and creating additional high-paying jobs.
Telecontact’s participation in the Global Business Services Forum 2026, scheduled for 24–25 July in Tashkent, was also confirmed.
The company already operates in Ferghana and Samarkand, where it continues to develop contact centre infrastructure and expand operational capacity.
