Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting of the Joint Uzbek-Mongolian Commission on International Road Transport.
The event brought together representatives from the transport authorities of both countries to discuss prospects for developing international freight transportation and measures to create favorable conditions for national carriers.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on the current state of road transport and highlighted significant potential for further expanding cooperation in this sector. As a result of the negotiations, a decision was made to double the number of permit forms for 2025.
Special attention was given to the digitalization of processes. In particular, the introduction of the E-Permit electronic permit exchange system was discussed, which is expected to streamline and accelerate freight transportation procedures between the two countries.
