Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — First Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, Azizbek Mannopov, and Uzbekistan’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO, Kamol Mukhtarov, met with Director General of the Institut du Monde Arabe, Shawki Abdelamir, to discuss prospects for cultural cooperation.
The parties reviewed opportunities for future collaboration between the Foundation and the Institute, as well as the implementation of new joint cultural initiatives.
They highlighted the success of previous projects, including the exhibition “Road to Samarkand: Wonders of Silk and Gold,” which received wide international recognition.
Discussions also included a potential new project focused on Uzbek dance art, as well as other areas of collaboration, such as professional exchanges, joint research programs, and museum initiatives.
These efforts aim to strengthen cultural ties and promote Uzbek art on the international stage.
