Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and Armenia plan to develop cooperation in the justice sector and digital legal technologies. On 17–18 September, a delegation from Official Gazette CJSC under Armenia’s Ministry of Justice visited Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice.
During the visit, the sides exchanged experience in law enforcement practice and discussed the operation of the ARLIS system and the development of electronic systems.
The Armenian delegation also familiarized itself with the activities of the Adolat National Legal Information Center under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice. The guests were presented with the processes for the legal and technical processing of regulatory legal acts, as well as modern information technologies introduced at the center.
Particular attention was paid to LegalTech. The delegations were presented with the capabilities of the artificial intelligence-based Lex.ai platform, the Yurxizmat system and the Child Rights Portal.
In addition, Armenian representatives visited the multimedia department, where they familiarized themselves with legal game projects and the activities of the Museum of the History of Justice Bodies.
Following the visit, the Adolat National Legal Information Center and Official Gazette CJSC signed a memorandum of understanding. The document is aimed at developing long-term cooperation between the two organizations.
The visit of the Armenian delegation to Uzbekistan will continue until 20 September.
