Uzbekistan and Afghanistan Reaffirm Commitment to Peace and Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a substantive phone conversation with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on the current bilateral agenda and the regional situation, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation, peace, and stability in the region.

Both sides emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy remain the most effective tools for addressing emerging challenges, building trust, and advancing mutual understanding between the two countries.
