Uzbekistan air passenger traffic up 8.3% in H1 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Air transport in Uzbekistan carried 4.5 million passengers in the first half of 2026, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.

During the first six months of the year, air transport operators also transported 57.2 thousand tonnes of cargo across the country.

The data indicates steady growth in Uzbekistan's aviation sector, with passenger traffic expanding by 8.3% year-on-year alongside a cargo transport volume of 57.2 thousand tonnes in the January–June period.
