TITF-2023: Andijan region reached agreements for 12 billion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation consisting of representatives of tourism industry of Andijan region and tourism department of Andijan region took part in "Tashkent International Tourism Fair" organized on  15-17 November.

During the fair, meetings were held to increase the number of foreign tourists coming to the region, promote the potential of tourism abroad, as well as realize a number of joint projects.

As a result of negotiations, agreements were reached with representatives of the industry coming from Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Belarus, France and other countries on attracting tourists to Andijan region.

In particular, a visit of the delegation of Turkestan region of Kazakhstan and shooting of a program about the tourist potential of Andijan on the Russian TV channel NTV is scheduled for next week.

As a result of the fair, contracts worth 12 billion soums were signed between businessmen working in the region and industry representatives who visited the event.
