Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 14 September 2026, the Tashkent Metro set a new daily passenger record, carrying 1,165,550 passengers over the course of the day, the press service of the Tashkent Metro said.
The previous record was set on 8 May 2026, when the metro carried 1,117,061 passengers.
The new record was 48,489 passengers higher than the previous maximum.
