Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, said she had met with US President Donald Trump. The meeting was also reported by Uzbekistan’s state news agency.
“It is a great honour for me to meet with US President Donald Trump and convey the warmest wishes from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev,” Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel.
No further details of the meeting have so far been reported by the White House or the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan.
Mirziyoyeva is visiting the United States. During the trip, she took part in events of the UN General Assembly and held talks with representatives of Google, the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
