Property tax privileges to be moved online

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Citizens in Uzbekistan will be able to apply for land tax and property tax privileges in electronic form, following a corresponding resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers on 16 July 2026.

The document approves the administrative regulations for receiving electronic applications via the Electronic Portal of Tax Services and the Single Portal of Interactive State Services (EPIGU). The applications will be reviewed by district and city tax inspections based on the applicant's place of residence.

Concurrently, for citizens with Group I and II disabilities, land tax and property tax privileges will be granted in a proactive manner, eliminating the need to file an application.

To apply for a privilege, the applicant will need to fill out an electronic questionnaire specifying the type of privilege, its duration, and a contact phone number, as well as attach a digital copy of the document confirming the right to receive the privilege.

Upon receipt of the application in the information system, the responsible employee of the tax authority must verify the submitted information within two working days. Following this, a decision to either grant the privilege or refuse it is made within the subsequent two working days.

If a citizen owns multiple real estate properties, the tax privilege can only be applied to one of the objects.

The conclusion prepared by the tax authority will be sent to the applicant within one working day through their personal account on EPIGU or the Electronic Portal of Tax Services.
