President of Uzbekistan Arrives in Georgia on State Visit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in Tbilisi for a state visit to Georgia.
At the Shota Rustaveli International Airport, the head of state was received by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Bochorishvili, along with other government officials.
In honor of the high-ranking guest, the national flags of both Uzbekistan and Georgia were raised at the airport, and a guard of honor was lined up.
As part of the official program, talks are scheduled to take place today with Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili. On the following day, July 3, the President of Uzbekistan will hold high-level meetings with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
