President of Albania arrives on official visit to Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj, together with his spouse, has arrived in Tashkent on an official visit.

At the international airport of the capital, the Albanian leader was welcomed by Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddin Ismoilov and other officials.

During the visit, high-level talks are scheduled. The presidents of Uzbekistan and Albania, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Bajram Begaj, will discuss prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation across various areas.

The agenda of the talks also includes international political issues, including interaction and mutual support between the two countries on multilateral platforms.

In addition, the President of Albania will take part in the anniversary Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, which is being held in the capital of Uzbekistan.
