12 MAs keen to join ACL

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The AFC has sent letters to 12 Member Associations keen to play in the 2011 AFC Champions League asking them to prove they meet the Criteria for Participation.
The MAs are: Iraq, Jordan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Singapore, Tajikistan, Thailand, Vietnam and Yemen.
Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam currently have clubs taking part in play-offs to qualify for the group stages of the 2010 ACL.
The AFC has asked the MAs to submit necessary documents and may conduct inspection visits in 2010.
A final decision will be taken after the Executive Committee meeting in November, 2010.
