Uzbek President and the Prime Minister of the UAE note ample opportunities for the development of multifaceted cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 December, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke by phone with the Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.
At the beginning of the conversation, the leader of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the Vice-President of the Emirates on the golden anniversary - the 50th anniversary of the founding of the state, and expressed sincere wishes for well-being, sustainable development and prosperity.
The high achievements of the UAE in all spheres and areas of socio-economic, innovative and humanitarian development, as well as the country's growing prestige in the global arena, were especially noted. All this is once again confirmed by the events of the EXPO World Exhibition, which is being successfully held in Dubai.
The President of Uzbekistan and the Vice President of the Emirates emphasized the broad opportunities for further strengthening the traditionally close and friendly bilateral ties, as well as expanding the multifaceted partnership, primarily in the trade, economic and investment spheres.
Much attention was paid to the promotion of promising joint projects in the field of high technologies and innovations, "green" energy, trade and logistics, as well as in the field of disclosing intellectual potential.
An agreement was reached to continue an active dialogue and full-scale cooperation in all areas of interaction.
