The delegation arrived in Uzbekistan to familiarize with investment opportunities in various sectors of the country’s economy.
The parties discussed development of blockchain technology. The sides exchanged views on latest trends in development of the technology, which are new and promising directions in development of information and communication technologies.
It should be noted that Minfinkom actively promotes this technology. As early as 1 June 2018, the Competence Center for Distributed Registry and Blockchain Technologies will be established. The main objective of this Center is to improve the skills of staff: developers, project managers, government officials, teachers.
Also, the Uzbek side acquainted the guests with the activities of newly created Innovation Center for Support of Development and Implementation of Information Technologies “Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center”.
