Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Malaysian state of Perlis, led by Crown Prince Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra, explored the tourism potential of Bostanlyk district during an official visit to Tashkent Region.
The delegation visited the Chorvoq Darvozasi tourist complex, where the guests were briefed on the facility and the natural landscapes surrounding it. The press service of the Tashkent Region hokimiyat said.
The delegation then visited a hotel complex in the Chimgan area and reviewed the facilities available for receiving tourists.
The next stop on the programme was the Amirsoy ski resort. A meeting was held there between the Crown Prince of Perlis and Tashkent Region Governor Zoyir Mirzayev.
The sides discussed the development of tourism ties between Tashkent Region and Perlis, as well as opportunities to make more effective use of their tourism potential. Particular attention was paid to promising areas for further cooperation.
The visit concluded with a performance by representatives of the Tashkent Region Department of Culture for the Malaysian delegation. The guests were presented with traditional melodies and songs.
After the programme, the delegation led by the Crown Prince of Perlis was seen off by representatives of the regional authorities.
