Pakhtakor, Neftchi learn AFC Champions League rivals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor and Neftchi have learned their opponents for the league stage of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League following the draw held in Kuala Lumpur. The first round of the league stage is scheduled for 14–15 September 2026, according to the tournament draw.

Pakhtakor will play four matches at home in Tashkent, facing Istiklol, Tractor, Al-Qadsiah and Al-Nassr.

The Tashkent club's away opponents will be Al-Ahli, Air Force, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad.

Neftchi will also play four home matches. In Ferghana, the club will host Al-Ahli, Air Force, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad.

The Ferghana club will face Istiklol, Al-Nassr, Tractor and Al-Qadsiah in away matches.

As a result, the two Uzbek clubs will face the same eight opponents, but the home and away fixtures will be reversed between Pakhtakor and Neftchi.

The first round of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League league stage is scheduled for 14–15 September 2026.
