Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Oqil Khasanov has been appointed head of the Department for Youth Affairs of Namangan Region, the information service of the Namangan regional administration said.
Oqil Khasanov was born in Namangan in 1989. In 2011, he graduated from the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
He began his career at the Namangan regional administration as a specialist in the organizational and control group. He later held senior positions in the public education system, youth policy and spiritual and educational work.
In particular, Khasanov served as deputy hokim of Davlatabad district for youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational work.
Prior to his new appointment, he headed the Secretariat for Relations with Public and Religious Organizations of the Namangan regional administration.
The appointment was made pursuant to an order issued by the director of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
