Number of mobile subscribers in Uzbekistan reaches 36.3 million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — As of 1 January 2025, the number of mobile subscribers in Uzbekistan has reached 36.3 million, according to the National Statistics Agency.

In recent years, this figure has shown steady growth. In 2021, there were 26 million mobile subscribers in the country, increasing to 29 million by 2022 and reaching 32 million in 2023.

The upward trend continued in 2024, with the number of mobile users rising to 34.3 million. By early 2025, the figure had grown by another 2 million, further solidifying Uzbekistan’s expanding mobile communications market.
