Navoi region retains leadership in industrial production

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's industrial production volume reached 505.9 trillion soums in the period from January to May 2026, according to data from the National Committee on Statistics. The Navoi region made the largest contribution to the total figure.

The Navoi region became the leader among the regions, with its industrial production volume reaching 128.5 trillion soums. The city of Tashkent ranked second with 81.7 trillion soums, followed by the Tashkent region in third place, which produced 80.0 trillion soums worth of industrial goods.

The top five also included the Andijan region, with a production volume of 44.0 trillion soums, and the Samarkand region, where industrial output amounted to 25.5 trillion soums.

These were followed by the Ferghana region with 23.1 trillion soums, the Bukhara region with 20.7 trillion soums, the Kashkadarya region with 19.3 trillion soums, the Namangan region with 16.1 trillion soums, and the Jizzakh region with 15.6 trillion soums.

The industrial production volume stood at 14.6 trillion soums in the Khorezm region, 12.1 trillion soums in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and 11.0 trillion soums in the Syrdarya region. The lowest figure among the listed regions was recorded in the Surkhandarya region at 7.6 trillion soums.
