Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A new “Banned Channels” service has been launched on the MY.SUD.UZ interactive services portal, allowing citizens to access information about internet resources recognized as extremist in Uzbekistan.
The service contains a list of internet sources that disseminate ideas of religious extremism, terrorism and fanaticism.
Under decisions of the Supreme Court, the relevant materials are prohibited from being imported, produced, stored, distributed and displayed in Uzbekistan.
Users can search the list of banned resources and channels and sort them by social networks and other internet platforms. The list includes resources on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads and other services.
As of 13 July, the list contained 1,882 internet sources.
