Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Hududgazta’minot JSC supplies liquefied gas to more than 3.73 million households and around 2,000 social facilities. This was reported by Akmal Dzhurayev, head of the company’s Liquefied Gas Supply Department, at a briefing at the Media Content Preparation Centre.
From January to September 2026, more than 398,000 tonnes of liquefied gas were supplied to consumers. As part of preparations for the autumn-winter period, 93 gas-filling facilities and gas storage tanks were brought into readiness, and the necessary material and technical reserves were established. A stock of 24,000 household gas cylinders has also been created in the regions.
During the 2026–2027 heating season, 325,700 tonnes of liquefied gas are planned to be supplied to consumers. Of this volume, 8,200 tonnes are earmarked for 104,700 consumers in 229 remote and hard-to-reach villages and settlements.
The company said particular attention is being paid to coordinating all stages of supply, from receiving and storing gas to filling cylinders and delivering them to consumers. At the same time, citizens’ requests related to liquefied gas supplies are being reviewed.
During the first nine months of 2026, the Presidential Virtual Reception received 18,323 requests concerning liquefied gas supplies. According to the company, 98% of them were resolved positively, while work on the remaining requests is continuing.
The number of requests has meanwhile declined. While 6,693 requests were registered in June–July, the figure fell to 3,974 in August–September. This represents a decrease of 2,719 requests, or 40.6%.
To improve interaction with the public, the number of operators at round-the-clock call centres was increased from 62 to 93. In the regions, requests are also being reviewed through Telegram groups in cooperation with the “mahalla seven”. Personal and field meetings with managers and specialists are also being held.
Hududgazta’minot is also introducing digital tools to monitor supplies. The receipt of gas at gas-filling facilities is recorded in the E-Gaz electronic system. During targeted deliveries, the recipient’s identity is verified using Face ID. According to the company, this helps improve the accuracy of accounting, reduce the impact of human error and ensure transparency of supplies.
At the same time, Uzbekistan is implementing measures to reform the system for supplying liquefied gas to the population and gradually introduce market mechanisms. These include purchasing gas through exchange trading, involving private entrepreneurs in supplies and developing competition.
In Andijan region, a pilot project provides for the participation of private operators in the direct supply of imported liquefied gas to consumers in household cylinders.
In addition, LPG-Trade LLC is being established with the participation of Hududgazta’minot. From 1 November 2026, the company is expected to begin purchasing liquefied gas for household needs through a separate exchange trading platform, followed by deliveries to consumers. Additional purchases through open exchange trading will be available if necessary.
At the same time, the difference between the state-regulated retail price of gas for households and the economically justified costs of supplying it will be covered from the state budget.
The development of mechanisms for targeted support of socially vulnerable groups is also envisaged while maintaining existing benefits.
Consumers can contact the short number 1104 regarding the supply of liquefied gas and household gas cylinders.
The company recommends providing an exact address and contact telephone number when submitting a request so that the issue can be reviewed promptly.
