Masdar starts the construction of a solar photovoltaic plant in Navoi region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Masdar (the UAE) has started construction of a solar photovoltaic plant in Karmana district of Navoi region.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the project for the construction of a 100 MW solar PV Station is being implemented based on a public-private partnership. The commissioning of the plant is scheduled for October 2021. It will be the first industrial-scale power plant based on renewable energy sources.

All the necessary infrastructure for the construction of the facility has been prepared at the construction site.
