Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A branch of Liaoning Normal University of the People’s Republic of China will be established in Khorezm region. The corresponding Presidential Resolution PP–359 was adopted on 2 October 2026.
The branch will begin its educational activities from the 2026/2027 academic year. Instruction will be provided in Uzbek, Chinese or English.
Students will be able to study in full-time and alternative formats. Those admitted through the 2030/2031 academic year, inclusive, will study under a full state grant throughout their entire period of study.
Starting from the 2030/2031 academic year, 30% of the branch’s admission places will be allocated on the basis of state grants.
Student internships will be organised in accordance with the curricula at enterprises in the production and service sectors of Khorezm region.
The programme will also provide for the use of dual education mechanisms.
