Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has awarded Anvar Ismatovich Shukurov, founder of Karakalpak Cement LLC, the honorary title of Distinguished Inventor and Innovator of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the presidential press service said.
According to the decree dated 21 September 2026, Shukurov’s enterprise is located in Karauzyak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The honorary title was awarded for organizing extensive entrepreneurial activities and successfully implementing a number of major investment projects.
The document notes that Shukurov’s achievements are primarily associated with the effective application of modern scientific advances and innovative technologies to organize the production of high-quality import-substituting products in such important sectors as industry, agriculture and energy.
The decree also highlights his contribution to increasing the country’s level of development, creating new jobs, improving the well-being of the population and actively participating in public life.
