Kaizen principles to be introduced in Ferghana enterprises
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The opportunities for introducing the Kaizen system at enterprises manufacturing building materials have been studied in the Ferghana region. Following the assessment, an agreement was reached to launch pilot projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of production processes.
The practical study of the enterprises served as a continuation of the "Improving Enterprise Efficiency" seminar organized for representatives of the region's construction industry. The field events were attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Umid Abidkhadjaev, representatives of the Kaizen Institute, and other relevant specialists.
During the visits, the participants familiarized themselves with the organization of production and management processes, evaluated the capacity utilization rate, product quality, efficiency of internal processes, logistics, and the management system.
Based on the Kaizen methodology, a diagnosis of current problems and the potential of the enterprises was conducted. Following the results of the analysis, recommendations were prepared to improve production processes, ensure more rational resource utilization, reduce time and financial costs, and implement effective approaches to team management.
The implementation of the pilot projects is expected to contribute to the formation of a modern management culture at industry enterprises, the introduction of scientifically grounded methods of production organization, and an increase in the competitiveness of domestic building materials manufacturers.
Earlier in Ferghana, specialists from the Kaizen Institute conducted a seminar for representatives of around 100 building materials enterprises, focusing on issues of business efficiency improvement, the implementation of the Kaizen system, modern management practices, and the formation of highly effective teams.
